An Evening in Charlottesville II
I apologize for not posting this earlier, but here it is! Maria, some friends and I headed up to Charlottesville on the 26th to see The Head and The Heart at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. This has to be one of my favorite venues. Maria and I have seen many artists play here and it's a venue that just feels like home.
Funny fact, Andrew and I actually played a small set on the stage, there, when we were just starting The Band Concord. The pavilion holds about 3500 people and we played for about 40 or so... all doing arts and crafts and not really listening. Even still, it was an aweosme experience and I hope we can some day headline there.
That's beside the point! The show was a lot of fun and, of course, what would a day in Charlottesville be without a little exploring?
The majority of the photos above are from Daedalus Bookshop. It's a really interesting place and I recommend peeping in if you get the chance. I will warn you that it is very easy to get lost in the tight aisles so bring some bread crumbs!
All in all, it was a great weekend and we ended up at one of our favorite places - Lake Anna!
Leave a like and comment if you have ever explored Charlottesville!
P.S. Tried something new this time and edited all these photos on Afterlight on my new iPad Mini! Tons of fun doing it this way... might make it a thing we will see!
it is what it is.
