Case Study | United Way Testimonial Video
I’ve really taken a liking to videography. Like most of my services I offer at Spencer Pugh Media, videography started out as a ridiculously fun hobby that I never dreamed would help me earn my living one day.
So It’s always a complete joy when someone reaches out to have a video made for their business or organization.
The video above was a project I worked on with United Way, an organization that improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.
The shoot time for this video flew by. The subjects came prepared and absolutely nailed their answers to the questions. It was also a joy working with Lydia Merritt the marketing director and visionary behind the little film.
I enjoy working with people who help keep me on my toes and push me to create even better content then I would if I were left up to my own devices. With Lydia’s past experience with these types of creative projects, we were able to communicate efficiently and transparently with one another when it came to editing jargon and expectations of quality.
This four-minute video underwent several revisions and around 9 hours of edits until we found exactly what Lydia and the team wanted.
I’m super proud of the end product!
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
If you ever need a media project done by an external company or source, don’t be afraid to add your input and your flavor to the project.
As with anything, there needs to be a healthy balance between your expectations and ideas and that of the hired creative, but working together makes projects way more fun and produces products that both parties can be proud to show off.
I hope you’ll enjoy this video and if your company would like a similar video made, or would like to discuss a different style of video or project, please don’t hesitate to gibe me a call or shoot me an email, I would be glad to help!
Thanks for reading, I’ll see you next week.
