A Charlottesville Morning
This past Saturday, Maria and I packed up our things and headed to Charlottesville to see Sara Bareilles in concert at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. The show was amazing and Sara was even better than we had hoped she would be. Maria went home with her parents that night and I stayed in a hotel room because The Band Concord had a show the next day at The Garage.
Sunday morning I woke up and headed to downtown Charlottesville to take some pictures. Now, it was about 90 degrees that morning and all I had brought with me were performing clothes... That means pants and boots. I sweated my butt off but I couldn't stop taking photos! There were so many colors and so many joyful people. I finally stopped into a nice little coffee shop to get some water, relax, and transfer the photos over to my computer. It was then that I realized I had taken over 700 photos! I guess I was having such a good time enjoying the people and things going on around me that didn't even think about just how many shots I had taken.
I finally worked all 700 some pictures down into the 22 in the gallery above. These were some of my favorite shots from that morning and I can't wait to look back at this wonderful day.
So if you're ever in Charlottesville, take a walk downtown and pop in to some of the little shops and things and see what you can find!
it is what it is.
